flowers at Keukenhof

今さら4月にキューケンホフへ行った話。

オランダにあるキューケンホフ、世界最大のフラワーパークだそう。1年の内、開園期間はたったの８週間。

Keukenhof which is the biggest flower park in the world and they open only for 8 weeks in a year!

鮮やか。毎年700万個以上の球根が植えられています。これだけの花や木々をこんなに美しく保つのは大変だろうな、とひたすらガーデナーに感服。すごい。

It must be very hard job to take care of so many flowers for gardener..I was really impressive.

10年くらい前は、母に’胡蝶蘭展がやってるから行こう’なんて言われると全然のり気でなく、そんなところ行かなくても花はそこらへんに咲いてるよ、といった具合だったのに、今はわざわざ車に乗って、違う国まで花を見に行き。
年月は色々なことを変えるね。

Although I was not interested in going to any 'flower expo' things about 10 years ago, now I purposely go to a different country only to see the flowers.Time changes things..
